New England Konservatuarinda ve Oakland Üniversitesinde eğitim gördükten sonra rock grubu Staight Ahead`e katilmis . 90`larin ortasinda New York`ta Max Roach, Oliver Lake gibi isimlerle çalışmış, gectigimiz senelerde İstanbul Jazz Festivali`ne katılmış, o sene basilan jazz fest compilation`unda piyanist Kenny Baron`la yaptigi "softly as in a morning sunrise" adli yumusacik, easy-going dueti var.
